Thank you for the email and for setting up the site, such as it is. I will continue to try to filter noise from signal, but as said at meeting, it is hard to tell one from tother.

Thanks Lucy. I've been trying the fourrier transform suggested at the meeting, with little success. I still think it must be an artifact of the apparatus, mechanical or electronic. Sounds mechanical to me.

Thanks Lucy. At the meeting I thought we decided to exclude mechanical causes at the site? They've investigated all such possibilities, there is no point spending more time and effort on this if we are pretty sure it isn't mechanical. I feel there is a bias towards undervaluing the work of ground crew here.
